PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image output unit and a printing system in which a work related to observation by many and unspecified persons or advertisement application can be simplified partially or entirely and the cost thereof can be reduced by signals from a network. SOLUTION: The image output unit comprises a sheet feed mechanism, an image print surface display region, an ink jet recording system and a print data processing part. From an image information transmission source, i.e., an image tank, image data is transmitted to each terminal through a network and a designated image can be displayed at an arbitrary place at an arbitrary time.
