<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag which is capable of maintaining, by a simple wrapping operation, a state of folding of an airbag body over an approximately entire length of the air bag body. SOLUTION: This airbag 10 comprises the airbag body 11, and wrapping members 25 and 26 for preventing braking of folded state, the wrapping members being capable of rupture. The airbag body 11 is folded and stored to a peripheral edge of an opening at a vehicle inside in a vehicle body, and is capable of developing and expanding so as cover the opening at inflow of a gas for expansion. After the airbag body 11 is folded, the wrapping members 25 and 26 are wrapped around the airbag body 11. The wrapping members 25 and 26 are constituted of lengthy members having flexibility, and are wrapped to an outer periphery of the approximately entire length of the folded airbag body 11 so as to be along an axial direction X of the airbag body 11 which is folded to be an approximately bar-like shape and so as to obliquely intersect the axial direction X.</p> |
