<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reconcile improved fuel consumption and drivability by preventing booming noise and vibration in a lockup operation and establishing lockup control from a low vehicle speed range. SOLUTION: Booming noise and vibration in lockup control are prevented by means of a torque fluctuation detecting means for detecting a shortage or overage of torque generated by an engine, a generated torque controlling means for controlling the engine-generated torque according to the torque shortage or overage in a clutch state with a maximum coupling rate, and a torque transfer factor controlling means. The lockup control can ensure drivability, produce driving force intended by a driver, and produce the highest fuel economy.</p> |
