PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter apparatus which can easily cover increase of rated capacity and change of specification. SOLUTION: A main circuit substrate 3U for a main element 1UU in upper arm of U phase and a main element 1UL for lower arm among the main element 1, a main circuit substrate 3V for main element 1VU in upper arm of V phase and a main element 1VL for lower arm, and a main circuit substrate 3W for a main element 1WU in upper arm of W phase and a main element 1WL for lower arm are respectively provided exclusively for each phase. The common circuits are mounted on the interface substrate 3, power supply substrate 4 and control substrate 6. Thus, since change in the shape of the main element and in the number of elements connected in parallel in the phase can be covered with minimum change of substrate and, therefore, change of rating and specification can also be covered easily at a low cost. |
