PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a satisfactory deodorizing performance without providing a dedicated heater to heat a catalyst. SOLUTION: When a cooking container 16 is heated by feeding power to an induction heating coil 11 at the time of cooking, air which contains moisture and oil contents is generated from food ingredients in the cooking container 16. In this case, when a fan 31 for sucking smoke is operated, the air is sucked from a smoke sucking port 27, and the air is discharged into a space section 36 under a state wherein the oil contents have been removed. Also, when power is fed to the induction heating coil 11, not only the cooking container 16 but also a heater 38 for heating the catalyst are simultaneously heated, and the air in the space section 36 is heated which passes through the heater 38 for heating the catalyst. Then, the catalyst 37 which is located on further downstream side of the space section 36 than the heater 38 for heating the catalyst is activated by the heated air. Thus, an odor content contained in the air is effectively removed. |
