PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a wire rupture accident and reduce the facility cost by dispensing with a power feed dedicated cable to a cage lifted from a ground facility and a communication cable for bi-directional communications between the cage and the ground facility. SOLUTION: For the transmission of feed power and transmission signals between the cage 5 suspended by a suspension steel wire 1 and lifted and moved and the ground fixed facility 3, the feed power and transmission signals are transmitted by electromagnetic induction from the ground fixed facility 3 to the fixed facility 6 of the cage 5, with the suspension steel wire used as a transmission medium. Transmission signals are transmitted by electromagnetic induction from the fixed facility 6 of the cage 5 to the ground fixed facility 3, with the suspension steel wire 1 used as the transmission medium.
