<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of causing a skew by the state that conveying force applied to paper does not become uniform in the cross direction of a document of small size in a conventional feeder wherein a separating roller and a feed roller are arranged away from a reference line suitably by a fixed distance while making the center positions of the separating roller and feed roller coincide with each other. SOLUTION: In this feeder wherein one side part in an orthogonal direction to a document conveying direction is set as the reference line S for the alignment of a document D, a pickup roller 26 is arranged in the minimum document width out of a plurality of conveyable document sizes.</p> |
