PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an outer ring for an electrodeposition drum in which the structure is uniformed, metal foils of high quality can be manufactured, and the service life is long because the range of welded parts is narrow over the total thickness. SOLUTION: A riser part 2 which is outwardly bent in the radial direction is formed on both ends facing each other of a plate 1 wound in a cylinder and formed of a material mainly consisting of titanium, and the riser parts 2 are welded to each other from the inside to form a projecting part 4 which is projected outwardly. An outer side of the projecting part 4 is rolled to set the thickness thereof to be as thick as a base material, and a rolled part 5 is heat-treated so as to be finely grainulated and get hardness approximate to those of the base material. |
