PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost and weight of a stacker crane for taking a plurality of loads in and out collectively. SOLUTION: The stacker crane is provided with a placing part 20 for placing a plurality of loads 2; a bar-like batch in-and-out member 21 freely abutting on and separating from the loads 2 and moving along the in-and-out direction of the loads to take a plurality of loads 2 collectively in and out of the placing part 20; and a batch moving means 22 for moving the batch in-and-out member 21. The batch moving means 22 is composed of an elevating means 85 for elevating the batch in-and-out member 21, and a first projecting-receding means for moving the batch in-and-out member 21 in the in-and-out direction of the loads.
