PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a saw handle with a writing utensil insertingly provided therein, in which the writing utensil for writing a mark at a cutting off portion or a guide line for cutting in a cutting work of a lumber or the like with a saw is extractably inserted in a groove provided on the side of a handle or within the handle. SOLUTION: In the handle, which has an arbitrary shape and in which a saw blade having an arbitrary shape is inserted, one side of the handle is notched into a groove having an arbitrary shape so as to provide an insertingly clipping part at one end with in the groove in order to device a means for detachably mounting the writing utensil within the groove.
