<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate an effect of preload on a bearing part during assembling and intrusion of water into a spline engaging part, in a driving wheel supporting device comprising a hub 10a for supporting a driving wheel, an inner ring 10b engaging with the hub 10a to form an inner ring raceway, and an outer ring 10c externally engaging with the hub 10a via a rolling element 10d to be fixed to a suspending device. SOLUTION: The inner ring 10b is joined and fixed by opening the inner end of the hub 10a in the outward direction of the diameter and caulking it, inserting of a tip side shaft 22 of an outer race 21 into an inner hole of the hub 10a is regulated to a predetermined distance to secure a clearance L between a caulking part 11h and the facing end surface of the outer race 21, the tip of the tip side shaft 22 is joined and fixed to the outside end of the hub 10a in a tightly closed state, and a gap between the outer end of the outer ring 10c and the outer periphery of the hub 10a and a gap between the inner end and the outer periphery of the outer race 21 are sealed.</p> |
