METHOD FOR PROTECTING REFRACTORY BRICKS OF FURNACE HEARTH USING POWDERY ORE CONTAINING TITANIUM

PURPOSE: A method for preventing refractory bricks of furnace hearth from being attacked or eroded using powdery ore containing titanium dioxide is provided. CONSTITUTION: The method is characterized in that powder ore containing a large amount of titanium dioxide is injected to damaged parts of refractory bricks of a furnace hearth through tuyeres so that TiO2 compound layer is formed on the damaged parts.
