PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyor type fryer wherein safety of a user and the utilization efficiency of a high voltage electric field are improved. SOLUTION: An upper conveyor device 22 and a lower conveyor device 23 are arranged on the top and the bottom in an oil tank 21. An electrode plate 24 is arranged in a region which is surrounded with an endless belt 37 of the upper conveyor device 22. An endless belt 61 of the lower conveyor device 23 is formed of a conductive material, and the endless belt 61 is grounded through a grounding wire 62. By applying a high voltage weak current to the electrode plate 24, safety of the user can be ensured even when a high voltage weak current is generated in a fry ingredient-carrying region. At the same time, a favorable effect by the high voltage weak current can be applied to the ingredients.
