PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball coating machine which hardly gives rise to the collision of golf balls 19 and 19 against each other in a coating process step. SOLUTION: A conveyor 21 of a coating section is provided with prong bodies 25. The golf balls 19 in a standby section 5 are placed on the prong bodies 25 by feeding means 3. The conveyor 21 moves intermittently toward an upper side and coating material is sprayed to the golf balls 19 at the front of a spray gun 23. When the lack of the golf balls 19 in the standby section 5 is sensed by a sensor, contact plates 51 of a stopping section 9 rise and send the golf balls 19 in the stopping section 9 to the standby section 5. When the lack of the golf balls 19 in the stopping section 9 is sensed by a sensor, supplying means 53 supply the golf balls 19 from trays 15 to chutes 7 and the golf balls 19 are sent to the stopping section 9. The golf balls 19 after coating are recovered by recovering means 3 into the trays 15.
