PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supplement the visual field by minimally driving an image pickup device in a case where a visual field blocking object which blocks the visual field of a driver is present upon turning right at an intersection. SOLUTION: The image pickup device for carrying out image pickup of image information in a vehicle width direction is arranged to a front right end of a vehicle, a distance measuring sensor for measuring a distance of the object in the vehicle width direction is arranged, and an image display device is arranged to a visible position from the driver. Based on present position information and road map information, approaching of the intersection is detected, and turning right condition is detected. Further, when a vehicle speed V is not more than a predetermined value VL, a detecting process of the visual field blocking object is started, and when the visual field blocking object is detected and when an image pickup means is in a state of capable of taking a dead angle part, the image pickup means is operated and the taken image information is displayed on the image display device. At this time, when a moving body approaching own vehicle is present, a warning is given.
