PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print system in which printing is performed while correcting positional shift of a recording sheet from a carrier by reading the line group of the recording sheet. SOLUTION: A scanning section comprising an image pickup section for reading out the surface of a carried sheet and a head for printing scans a sheet carried on a carrier while being sucked from one side, and reads our rules printed on the sheet. After reading out the rules, the carrier returns the sheet back to the print start position. Inclination and length of a line recognized as a rule and the width between rules are then recognized by image processing and an inputted text is arranged accurately on the rules and printed.
