EXHAUST GAS TREATING SYSTEM AND ITS OPERATING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a stable operation ranged over a long period of time by avoiding a pressure loss increased with time of an exhaust gas in a heat exchanger, thereby delaying the stop time of operation caused by a rise in the pressure loss. SOLUTION: The concentration of dust and soot in the exhaust gas G is kept in a concentration wherein the dust and soot do not come into a humid state in the heat exchanger 4 by additionaly mixing a powdery matter P of the same kind as that of the dust and soot contained in the exhaust gas G to the exhaust gas G with powdery matter feeder 25 on the upstream side from the heat transfer element 12 of the heat exchanger 4 for lowering temperature.
