<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide pedal displacement control structure capable of restraining the effect caused by a pedal and pedal bracket in the head-on collision of a vehicle. SOLUTION: In the pedal displacement control structure, the pedal bracket 12 with a clutch pedal 13 is supported on a front panel 2 in support structure such that when external force is applied to the pedal bracket 12 from an upper position, the pedal bracket 12 falls, and a bracket coming off mechanism 21 in which the load caused by the head-on collision of the vehicle is applied to the pedal bracket 12 from an upper side due to the relative displacement between the front panel 2 and a deck cross member 9 is provided. In this constitution, when the front panel 2 is displaced toward the rear of the vehicle in the head-on collision of the vehicle, the pedal bracket 12 comes off from the fixing point of the front panel 12 and moves (shifts) to the place where the leg of the pedal bracket 12 is hardly influenced.</p> |
