PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular air-conditioning system capable of being simply constructed and downsized. SOLUTION: A motor generator MG and a compressor CP are operably connected to each other. These are put in always connected condition based on power transmission. The motor generator MG and an engine Eg are operably connected to each other via an electromagnetic clutch 57 in a disconnectable manner. When the motor generator MG is used as an engine starter for starting the engine Eg the compressor CP is driven in the state that the discharge capacity of the compressor CP is not more than a predetermined discharge capacity. Thus, the need for providing a mechanism between the motor generator MG and the compressor CP for connecting both of them in a disconnectable manner is eliminated and a load on the motor generator MG at starting the engine Eg is reduced. Therefore, the vehicular air-conditioning system can be simply constructed and miniaturized. |
