PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce rolling resistance of a tire without damaging wetting performance, steering performance, or the like of the tire. SOLUTION: This tire comprises a tread 1, a sidewall 2, a bead part 3, a radial carcass 4, and a belt 5. The tread 1 has a laminated structure of a base rubber layer 7 lying on the inner peripheral side and a cap rubber layer 8 lying on the outer peripheral side. The base rubber layer 7 is extended over the side edge of the belt 5 and the side edge of the cap rubber layer 8. A radial distance L of the radial inner end of the base rubber layer 7 from a tread center surface is in a range of 0.2 to 0.35 times of the tire cross section height SH, tanδof the base rubber at 60 deg.C is smaller than that of the cap rubber, and E' of the base rubber at 30 deg.C is 20% or less of that of the cap rubber. |
