PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that infrared ray can not be used for analyzing the cause of incomplete ejection of an ink head because an ink channel connection member disposed on the side opposite to the ink ejecting part of the ink jet head is made of a translucent resin. SOLUTION: A head case 240 is provided with a hole 249 at a lower part of the nozzle section 204 of a head member 210 in order to facilitate transmission of infrared light and a channel connection member 230 is made of a transparent material so that the shape of the nozzle 204 can be evaluated and existence of a foreign matter in the vicinity of the nozzle can be confirmed using infrared light for analysis.
