PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated metal pipe having a regenerated polyolefinic plastic material as the raw material of a foamed layer, good in a foamed state and surface finish and capable of developing excellent heat insulating capacity, and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The coated metal pipe bas at least two polyolefinic plastic coating layers and at least one layer excepting the outermost layer among the coating layers has the foamed layer containing the regenerated polyolefinic plastic material as the raw material.
