PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating material pan 1 for feeding a coating material P to a coating material tank 7 without trapping air. SOLUTION: A flow out nozzle 10 having a inlet cylinder part projected upward from a coating material outlet port 1a at height corresponding to the coating material housing capacity in the coating material pan 1 and a flow-out cylinder part 13 connected to a liquid discharge pipe 3 leading to the coating material tank 7 is attached to the coating material outlet port 1a provided on the bottom part of the coating material pan 1. The inlet cylindrical part 12 has a shape made narrow downward toward the coating material outlet port 1a so that the overflown coating material P forms a spiral liquid film L and flows along the inside wall surface of the flow-in cylinder part 12. The spiral flow of the liquid film L is accelerated by a spiral projecting part 13 formed on the inside wall surface of the inlet cylindrical part 12. A coating material lower layer part containing a relatively large quantity of a pigment is fed from the coating material pan 1 to the liquid discharge pipe 3 by providing a plurality of ridge parts 17 extended from the inlet cylindrical part 12 to the outlet cylindrical part 13 on the outer circumference of the inlet cylindrical part 12 and the outlet cylindrical part 13 to form a pigment flow-out part 16 between the adjacent ridges.
