PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collecting filter cloth of which the web layer is subjected to a surface smoothing treatment without damaging air permeability and to suppress the damage of the base material in the dust collecting filter cloth of which the web layer comprising PTFE fibers is subjected to smoothing treatment. SOLUTION: The dust collecting filter cloth 21 is equipped with the base material 23 and the web layer 25. The base material 23 comprises a felt or a fabric and has heat resistance. The web layer 25 comprises PTFE staple fibers and is bonded to at least one surface of the base material 23 by entanglement to be laminated to the base material 23 and at least one surface thereof is subjected to smoothing treatment by heating.
