PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a Diels-Alder reaction product, comprising heating an olefin compound and a cyclopentadiene compound and/or a dicyclopentadiene compound, which enables the prevention in the accumulation of an easily polymerizable component polymer, the improvement in the effective yield of the olefin, and a stable operation over a long period. SOLUTION: This method for producing the Diels-Alder reaction product, comprising heating a mixture comprising the olefin compound and the cyclopentadiene derivative to carry out the Diels-Alder reaction, is characterized by continuously feeding the above mixture into a vertical tank type reactor at both whose ends an entrance and an exit for the reaction solution are disposed and which has a rotary shaft vertically disposed in the container, and horizontally extended stirring blades disposed on the rotary shaft at a plurality of stages.
