The invention relates to a coating device of a printing machine. The aim of the invention is to produce a coating device which has a particularly simple configuration and reduces noticeably the set-up times. For that purpose, during the processing of different media, a separate feed pipe (21), a separate return pipe (22), a separate doctor blade system (4) and at least the parts of the pumps (24, 25) which are in contact with a medium are interchangeable.
