Production of a xylanase-rich enzyme complex comprises culturing a xylanase-producing Trichoderma strain in a nutrient medium containing processed grain distillery slops which act both as xylanase inducer and as carbon source. The processed slops are produced by removing solids from the slops, evaporating off water and other volatiles, and autoclaving the resulting concentrate. |
