<p>The lock has a locking element (1) for the backrest sections, operated by an actuator. The locking element is charged by a pretension force in unlocking direction, and the actuator (4) has a contact part (5), which moves along a limited track and engages into a contact point (6) of the locking element, to move the element into locking position. To release the locking element, the contact element is moved out of engagement with it. During locking, the actuator remains activated until the locking element is in locking position. The actuator is activated mechanically or electrically, e.g. by an electro-magnetic drive, especially an electric motor.</p> |
