<p>In a chuck unit 8 for machine tool, capable of holding a workpiece 7 installed on a spindle freely supported, workpiece holding members 25, 40 are provided free to move in a radial direction with respect to an axial center of a main body, and a plurality of workpiece holding rods 25g, 58 are provided at the workpiece holding member being free to move and drive in the radial direction with the axial center as its center. And, member moving mechanism 22, 23 and 25a are provided at the workpiece holding member such that each workpiece holding member is free to independently move and drive in the radial direction with the axial center as its center by the member moving mechanism. Screw operating portions 23a, 23d, operable by a rotating operation jig 27 of the machine tool, are provided on an outer periphery side of the chuck unit. A workpiece end face abutting means 300, on which a workpiece end face abutting face 300a is formed, is provided at the main body, being free to move, drive and hold in the axial center direction of the main body.</p> |
