摘要

Aqueous bitumen emulsion for the preparation of cold hydrocarbon coatings comprises: (1) an ionic surfactant; and (2) a continuous aqueous buffered phase. The pH value of the continuous phase is such that the ionic surfactant is present in the ionized form. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) the use of the emulsion; and (2) preparation of cold hydrocarbon coatings.
