The numerical value of at least one chosen parameter of the recycled water is measured before and after the supply water is added and the numerical value of the same parameter is also measured in the supply water. These values are then used to determine the quantity of a water treatment product that should be added, taking into account the quantity of water supplied overall and the system volume.
