PURPOSE:To allow early listening without changing the pitch of reproduced voices by providing a zero cross detecting means, auxiliary information adding means and reading out address control means. CONSTITUTION:The auxiliary information consisting of the top address value of the next block and the quantization width of the top voice code is added and recorded by the address controller 2 to the ADM code array obtd. by executing the coding with each of the respective blocks with one between the zero cross points near the prescribed frame length of the input voice waveforms detected by the zero cross detector 1 as one block at the time of the coding. On the other hand, the reading of the voice code data of a prescribed number of the blocks is jumped under the control of an address controller 8 and the reproduced voice waveforms of the blocks before and after the block where the reading is jumped are continuously outputted at the time of the decoding for the fast listening. The fast listening is possible without changing the pitch of the reproduced voices according to this device. |
