PURPOSE: A device for removing foreign matters of heat exchanger of air conditioner is provided to remove foreign matters collected on the heat exchanger of an outdoor unit. CONSTITUTION: A device includes a water tank(30) installed on a location on an upper plate(26) covering an upper part of a heat exchanger(28) corresponding with the heat exchanger; doors(32) placed on a bottom of the water tank and opened and closed by load of water stored in the water tank to guide water to the heat exchanger; and closing springs(40,40') elastically supporting the doors and opening the doors when water collected in the water tank is enough to overcome elasticity thereof.
