PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute the pattern of a free cycle while reducing the pattern cycle of a highlight part by preserving image density and preventing the generation of moire and image degradation. SOLUTION: An image processor 100 buffers image data 102 through an image buffer part 50, outputs a concerned pixel value 104 and pixel values 106 around a concerned pixel, discriminates whether or not the concerned pixel value 104 is to be shifted through a shift condition discriminating part 200 from this concerned pixel value 104 and the values 106 of pixels around the concerned pixel and outputs the shift discriminated result 108. Then, a shift amount 110 of the concerned pixel is calculated by a shift pixel position calculating part 400, a shift pixel position signal 234 is outputted from setting parameters Tx 238, Ty 218, XCLOCK 224 and YCLOCK 214 by a shift pixel position calculating part 400, and a shifted concerned pixel value 112 is outputted from the concerned pixel value 104, shift discriminated result 108, shift amount 110 and shift pixel position signal 234 by a pixel value shift part 500. |
