PURPOSE: To form a non-linear element having a function equivalent to the function of conventional organic transistor, not using a special organic material with very high mobility, but using a wide-ranged organic material, and to provide an organic electronic device with high reliability which is easy to manufacture. CONSTITUTION: For the organic electronic device, having an organic LED element 4 and non-linear elements 1, 3 controlling the current flowing into the above on a substrate 100, the non-linear element has a structure of holding a metal layer 103 between organic layers 102, 104, and constructed so that a part of current flows between the organic layers 102, 104, through the metal layer 103.
