PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is difficult to surely replenish ink to an ink tank by a simple constitution, obstructing an aim of making a printer compact, light-weight and improved in reliability. SOLUTION: The storage ink tank 20 is provided with a suction system including a suction port 53 for introducing a negative pressure to the inside, an ink intake port 20b for taking ink to the inside by the negative pressure introduced from the suction port 53, a gas transmission member 48 set to the suction system for passing only a gas, and an atmosphere communication port 104. The atmosphere communication port 104 is shut when the ink is introduced to the inside from the ink intake port 20b.
