PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain new therapeutic and/or prophylactic agents for autoimmune diseases and to provide a new method for screening in search of the therapeutic and/or prophylactic agents. SOLUTION: The therapeutic and/or prophylactic agents for the autoimmune disease comprise a leptin inhibitor as an active ingredient. The method for screening the therapeutic and/or prophylactic agents for the autoimmune diseases uses the search for the leptin inhibitor as an index. The therapeutic and/or prophylactic agents for the auoimmune diseases are obtained by the method for screening.
