PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a discharge pole to spark just before the hammering of a dust collecting pole without influence on a gas state. SOLUTION: In an electrical dust collector 100 provide with plural dust collecting poles 151-155, discharge poles A1-D4 and hammers for hammering the dust collecting poles 151-155 in a gas passing region 184a, both of a discharge pole side contact point 121 connected electrically to the discharge poles A1-D4 and an earth side contact point 189 capable of approaching to the discharge pole side contact point 121 associating with falling operation of the hammers and earthing the discharge poles A1-D4 by interposing the discharge pole side contact point 121 are provided at the outside of the gas passing region 184a.
