PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spring assembly which reduces or minimizes abrasion between coil springs by making an inner spring assembly with continuous coil springs in a pocket as a basic core which supports a main body like a mattress, cushion or similar things, and a method for making it. SOLUTION: The spring assembly uses a woven cloth material which preferably has an adhesive composition between rows of coil springs in a pocket. The adhesive material makes the rows of coil springs stick to each other and position those coil springs relatively, and prevents the spring assembly from expansion or shrinkage.
