PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-swingable headrest frame consisting of fewer components, which can improve the workability in assembly and can lower the cost, while an angle restraint stopper can be readily formed at a hinge joint of the stay, and a reinforcement structure can be added easily. SOLUTION: This headrest frame is comprised of a box-type frame 11 that is made of a metal plate with a prescribed thickness, molded into a box shape with an open bottom and provided with bearing holes 18, 18 on both side walls 16, 16, and a blank 28 on which a number of notches 27 are given at regular intervals along both flanges 25, 26 of a strip of metal plate 24 of a prescribed size. The blank 28 is bent and shaped like a pipe, leaving a flat hinge bracket 29 on one end. The outer side surface 30 of the hinge bracket 29 is provided with an overhanging hole flange 31 that is to be fitted with the corresponding bearing holes 18, 18 for the engagement, and a stay pair 12, 12 that is hinged on the box-type frame is attached for the crimping of the hole flange 31 so as to make it is an appropriate state.
