PURPOSE: A phone set usable as a mobile phone and a driving method of a base unit and hand-free set of the phone set are provided to increase a user's convenience by allowing a user to use a hand-free set of a cordless phone set as a hand-free set of a mobile phone. CONSTITUTION: A base unit(10) is connected to a telephone network(20) and a mobile phone(30) by wire, and wirelessly connected to a hand-free set(40). The base unit(10) arbitrate communications between a hand-free set(40) and the telephone network(20), and between the hand-free set(40) and the mobile phone(30). Accordingly, a user can make a phone call communication through a wired telephone network and the mobile phone by using one hand-free set(40).
