PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle capable of achieving a simple structure to reduce the number of parts, and improving heat efficiency to reduce power consumption. SOLUTION: The conditioner comprises a blower 3, an outside air introducing passage 15 to introduce outside air to the blower 3, a heat exchanger 4 for cooling disposed on the downstream side of the blower 3, a heat exchange 5 for heating, and air blow passages 8, 9, and 10 to properly feed air sent from the heat exchanger 4 for cooling and the heat exchanger 5 for heating to the inside. In the outside air introducing passage 15, an inside air introducing passage 17 capable of exchanging heat through a heat exchanger 16 is provided. The downstream side of the heat exchanger 16 on the inside air introducing passage 17 is combined with the outside air introducing passage 15. A heat loss can be thus restricted low without discharging inside air. A special blower or the like is not required for introducing inside air, the structure is so simple that the number of parts can be reduced, and power consumption can be reduced in this air conditioner for a vehicle.
