PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a thermoplastic resin tube in which the heated tube is prevented from generating a corrugation by being stuck to a sizing die, and a sizing sleeve is prevented from being scratched by a suction port and an apparatus for the method. SOLUTION: In the method for producing the thermoplastic resin tube 5, in which the tube 5 which is plasticated by an extruder 1 and extruded into a tube from a cylindrical die 4 is led along the outer surface of the sizing die 4 having an outside diameter corresponding to the finished inside diameter of the tube 5, molded to have a diameter equal to the finished diameter while being cooled, drawn out, and cut in round slices, cooling water is made to flow down from the upper part periphery of the sizing die 4 between the outer surface of the sizing die 4 and the inner surface of the tube 5.
