PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging system in which a halftone image, e.g. a photograph of face, and a non-halftone image, e.g. a character, can be formed easily and conveniently on the ground paper of a name card, for example. SOLUTION: The imaging system comprises a combination of means for transferring a protective layer onto a halftone image plane and means for forming a non-halftone image, as required, wherein transfer of a receiving layer, transfer of a halftone image and transfer of the protective layer are performed using a thermal transfer sheet comprising a transferability dye receiving layer, a dye layer and a transferability protective layer formed on a long basic material film face sequentially. |
