PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovering method of iodine from an iodine-containing aqueous solution with high yield and high purity. SOLUTION: After a chlorine gas is reacted with a raw liquid for recovering iodine in which iodine and an inorganic iodine compound are contained, deposited iodine is recovered.
