PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer in which ink can be prevented from being transferred even if next recording medium is laid on a printed recording medium. SOLUTION: The printer 5, 5a, 5b comprises a head 35 for ejecting ink to a recording medium 27, means 10 for carrying the recording medium 27 relatively to the head 35, means 63 storing parameters concerning to the drying time of ink corresponding to each of a plurality of types of recording medium 27, and means 67, 73 and 77 for controlling the driving interval of the head 35 and the carrying means 10 such that dots formed on the recording medium 27 dry up before dots are formed on next recording medium. |
