PURPOSE: Provided is a lithium ion polymer battery using composite polymer electrolyte which shows improved rapid discharge capability by using polyethylene oxide(PEO) as polymer electrolyte, and polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF) as polymer electrolytes for cathode and anode. CONSTITUTION: The lithium ion polymer battery uses a polyvinylidene fluoride homopolymer in cathode and anode films, and a composite complex of polyethylene oxide and lithium salt as polymer electrolyte. Also, graphite or carbon is used as cathode active material of lithium ion polymer battery, and lithium cobalt oxide(LiCoO2), lithium nickel oxide(LiNiO2), or lithium manganese oxide(LiMnO4) is used as anode active material. A plasticizer used in preparing the polymer electrolyte is ethylene carbonate, propylene carbonate, dimethyl carbonate, diethyl carbonate, dimethoxy ethane, and diethoxy ethane.
