PURPOSE: A lower plate for PDP and method for manufacturing the same is provided to reduce manufacturing cost and reject ratio by reducing wiring for electrode of input terminal and eliminating the necessity of FPC. CONSTITUTION: A lower plate for PDP comprises a first metal substrate(52) where a barrier rib is formed; a second metal substrate(62) where a driver IC package is mounted; and a connector(80) for electrically interconnecting the first metal substrate and the second metal substrate. A method comprises a first step of forming a first green sheet onto a metal substrate; a second step of forming a barrier rib by pressing the first green sheet; a third step of forming a second green sheet onto a substrate other than the metal substrate; a fourth step of forming a printed circuit onto the second green sheet, and baking the second green sheet; and a fifth step of electrically connecting the metal substrate where the barrier rib is formed, and the substrate where the printed circuit is formed. |
