摘要 PURPOSE: A field emission display device employing a divided cross spacer is provided to prevent the distortion of spacer's wings by inserting a spacer into a trench of a jig over 50% of the height of the spacer. CONSTITUTION: A spacer material(600) is provided. A height(610) of the spacer material(600) coincides with a space between an anode substrate and a cathode substrate. A length(630) of the spacer material(600) is a sum of the lengths of both wings of a cross-type spacer. A trench(640) is formed on the center portion in a length direction of the spacer material(600). A width of the trench(640) is more wider over 10% than that of an actually manufactured spacer, thereby compensating a coupling tolerance. A depth of the trench(640) has a height more over 50% than that of the spacer material(600).
