PURPOSE: An HDLC(High-level Data Link Control) card for ISA(Industrial Standard Architecture) bus of PC using an MPC860 CPU is provided to improve speed and stability by downloading an HLDC frame in a memory by the MPC860 CPU and to execute the communication with only polling without making a communication driver for a Windows program. CONSTITUTION: The HDLC card comprises the MPC860 CPU(100) carrying out the final input and output of the HLDC communication frame, an MPC860 bus(140), a RAM(110) activating the MPC860 operation program by dumping the code of the ROM and storing various kinds of variables, a ROM(120) coding a program of the MPC860 CPU, the ISA bus(150) and an ISA interface circuit(130) exchanging the data through the ISA bus between a CPU of a PC and the MPC860 CPU.
